Duchess Meghan, also known as Meghan Sussex, recently shared personal details about her marriage to Prince Harry in a rare TV interview with actress Drew Barrymore.

The interview comes after the launch of her Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, and her lifestyle brand, As Ever. In a short preview of the interview, which will be fully released later today, Meghan talks about how she and Harry keep their relationship strong.

“Life is full of surprises, I did not expect to meet H and for this to be our love story,” she says.

Speaking about Harry, she describes him as “very lovable” and “easy to love.” She also calls him the “funniest, sweetest, most charming” person and “an amazing father.”

Meghan and Harry first met in 2016 after being introduced by a friend. They quickly fell in love, got engaged in 2017, and married in 2018. In 2019, they welcomed their first child, Prince Archie, who is now five.

At first, they lived in England as part of the royal family. However, in 2020, they decided to step down as senior royals and moved to Montecito, California. There, they started a new life and had their daughter, Princess Lilibet, who is now three.

Meghan shared a sweet moment from when they started dating:

“When we started dating, he goes, ‘I vow to always date you,’” she recalls. She adds, “We’re so committed to treating each other the same way you did before you had a ring on it, before it was locked down … and that’s, I think, what keeps things really alive.”

Even though their schedules are busy, Meghan says they make time for each other every day. “I count my blessings because I have him,” she says, explaining that Harry is “so supportive” of her and her projects.

Meghan describes their marriage as “amazing” and “fun.” The couple has worked together on projects like their Netflix show, Harry & Meghan, and continue their charity work through their nonprofit, Archewell.

Last summer, they visited Colombia for a special cultural trip, which was covered by Harper’s Bazaar.
